A complete remodel and refurbishment of a period property in Fulham designed for family life. Spatial planning was key in ensuring this open plan space had the right balance of kitchen and living.
The play of light and dark materials within the kitchen design creates a strong feature centre island with breakfast bar seating. The contemporary kitchen scheme is softened with the use of natural materials; natural stone surfaces and timber accents smooth off any harshness in the contrasting palette. An extra wide fridge and two full size ovens ensures this family home has all the space it requires, even for larger gatherings. Sculptural lighting adds a playful finishing touch.
A secondary kitchenette area was installed within the basement area of the property.
Designed in collaboration with Design to Finish residential building refurbishment.
